Speedy deletion nomination of Biggles(mount and musket)
[edit]Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —KuyaBriBriTalk 19:51, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

The article Mount&Musket:Battalion has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- game mod, fails WP:GNG
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kevin (talk) 20:27, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of 33rd regiment of foot (Mount&Musket:Battalion)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on 33rd regiment of foot (Mount&Musket:Battalion) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. KarikaSlayer (talk) 22:00, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
Deletion
[edit]Although your clan has people in it, and the article had two references, I still deleted the article. Simple existence is not enough to warrant inclusion in Wikipedia (see WP:ITEXISTS). In order for an article to remain on Wikipedia, it needs to meet the notability guidelines. For your article, more specific ones are found here. It would need to have coverage reliable sources (newspapers, magazines, etc.) that are independent of the subject. Although you included references, one was not independent (the group's own website) and one was not reliable (forums). If the notability guidelines cannot be met, you might try another wiki that has less stringent guidelines for inclusion. Also, it is strongly recommended that those with a conflict of interest with a subject do not write articles about it. It's best to wait for someone else to write about your group. See the conflict of interest guidelines at WP:COI. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Cheers! – GorillaWarfare talk • contribs 03:20, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- What do you not understand? The vague explanation is: it fit the speedy deletion criterion A7. I expanded upon this above. – GorillaWarfare talk • contribs 15:39, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
well it annoyes me when people like you delete or get rid of things that I make, just leave things alone!
A few things:
- It is not your article; once you hit the "Save page" button, it becomes the community's article and can be edited at will by anybody within common sense and our policies and guidelines.
- I have placed the deletion tag back on the article here; it needs to stay up for the duration of the deletion discussion so that others will know that a deletion discussion is taking place, which is for the benefit of everybody.

Ok, just next time could you give me a chance to edit it before you delete it,
removal of deletion notices
[edit]Do not remove AfD notices from articles. It will not stop the articles from being deleted, and is against the rules. Kevin (talk) 20:07, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
Sorry you didn't post anything on the talk page for several days. I assumed it was over.
