  • Comment: Error: There was no comment detected! Please follow the instructions at Template:AfC comment. That's actually a pretty good Neutrality-cleanup you did there. It could still use some work overall, so I'm going to wait for a second reviewer to look it over to get another opinion. Don't be discouraged it this takes several tries, just make sure to read whatever Decline notices or comments reviewers leave, and work at it step by step. Corporate articles often take several tries because we're very careful that they be properly sourced, not advertise, etc. MatthewVanitas (talk) 23:19, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
So long as you have the yellow "Review Waiting" box you're in the queue and good to go. In the meantime you can still work on the article though. We don't usually do a "Press" section unles the subject has one a particular award, so instead I would use the time to turn the more informative/insightful articles into additional footnotes to support the text. In particular, if there is serious media coverage that supports the claim that this is a unique/unusual marketing strategy, I would reinforce that point.
Btw, no need to email me directly. I think you can reply to me here and it will auto-notify me, but if you reply to me here and I don't respond in a day or so, post {{tb|User talk:2superkards}} and that lets me know to check in here to read your "talkback". Glad to help, thus far you are looking almost textbook-case for a corporate-connected editor who is behaving neutrally and transparently. All I would caution you further is to a) keep others from adding puffering/advert to the artile b) bookmark it so you can check for vandalism now and then (and/or add it to your Wiki watchlist, or set up an WP:RSS feed to your email if you want to get fancy and get instant awareness). c) If, if, there is anything negative-but-substantiated added to the article, like, fictionally speaking the owner of the company does something controversial/unpleasant that gets major headlines or a 20/20 expose', don't try to whitewash it out. You can help ensure that you get fair coverage in the article, but if you try to censor anything people will notice and swarms will come to ensure it doesn't get censored. The rule for this is WP:LUC
Wikipedia's Law of Unintended Consequences

If you write about yourself, your group or your company, once the article is created, you have no right to control its content, or to delete it outside the normal channels. Content is irrevocably added with every edit. If there is anything publicly available on a topic that you would not want to have included in an article, note that it will probably find its way there eventually.
So just bear that in mind. If at some point you need any testimonial for your internship paperwork that says you did a responsible job engaging WP, give me a shout and I (as a long-experienced editor, not a formal WP employee) can write you a little blurb for your employer letting them know how you did.
We generally discourage folks from writing for their boss, but we recognise it's hard for companies to help themselves from participating in frankly a huge website. So if they have to do it, they should do basically what you're doing so far. Ping me on my Talk (or if my Talk says I'm on wikibreak you can email me directly again) if you end up needing that. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Downsize Fitness Gym may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Nice work, now photos?

[edit]

Hello, glad to see you got it published. To add some zing, I suggest adding a photo of the front of your more famous gym. You can also add a company logo under WP:Fair use. For the picture of the gym, if you own the rights to it, or if whoever does is willing to release it under WP:Creative Commons license, you can upload it to WP:Wikimedia Commons so it can be used in any Wiki project.

The logo has to be uploaded directly to English Wikipedia only, using the "Upload file" button on the left side of your screen. You have to check the options for "non free", "logo", "represent company" etc., and you can only have one Fair Use file per page.

Adding images can be a little confusing, so feel free to ping me or WP:Teahouse if you have trouble. MatthewVanitas (talk) 21:51, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Downsize Fitness Tinted Glass.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Downsize Fitness Tinted Glass.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:40, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Downsize Fitness has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

small gym chain, sourced by press releases

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
