A few reasons as to why this was declined:

  1. The article duplicates itself twice, making it appear as a test edit (which is what I originally intended to decline as, but apparently clicked the wrong reason when I did so).
  2. Article title is "David ChalonerEnter your new article name here," further making me believe this was a test edit that was unintentionally submitted.
  3. The article does not have much information on the poet, and I don't see a claim to notability.

In general, the article just doesn't appear to meet the notability guidelines for inclusion in Wikipedia. The article needs significant expansion, particularly to why he is notable enough for inclusion in an encyclopedia. This, in addition to the way the article appeared when it was submitted, is why I declined the submission. AndrewN talk 06:48, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
