Proposed deletion of Eboo patel
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Eboo patel, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Not clear that the subject is sufficiently notable for inclusion. Please add independent references proving coverage by reliable sources if any exist.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. About Eboo Patel and my First Attempt
[edit]This is my first create and so I request an appropriate advise and guidance. I created this article because Eboo patel has been named a Member of Obama administration's "New Faith Advisory Council". I am providing the link herewith which I will update the article with. [New Faith Advisory Council]
Please advise if this still does not meet the 'Criteria of Wikipedia' and will follow your further advise. (2CentsOfMine (talk) 16:10, 6 February 2009 (UTC))
Welcome & Eboo Patel

Welcome to wikipedia - the Patel article is not under any deletion process now. Anyone can remove a WP:PROD notice - and I think it is very unlikely to be deleted by any process in the future, as he is clearly a notable person. Thanks for writing the article.John Z (talk) 19:15, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
