Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Misandry are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. Who decides what's a discussion of improvements to the page. You, again, I presume?
By that approach, you can suppress or promote any conclusion you desire (and it doesn't help that the conclusions you seem to desire in this instance are really very, very unpleasant). Bear in mind I'm not an American and I, like most of the rest of the English-speaking world, am not caught up in the hyper-polarity of the American cultural zeitgeist. This is the English Wikipedia, not the American Wikipedia. I'll suggest it again: if you want to write an article called something like "gender politics of rich, white Americans" I'll be happy to help.
Honestly, I'm not sure why you aren't over on the article titled "discrimination against men" where you could advance exactly the same arguments with exactly the same ends. It's a much bigger and more populous article.
I'm a video engineer and I spent years maintaining articles on various technical topics related to that field, and I stopped largely because of nonsense exactly like that you're creating here. Well-meaning, well-informed contributors are put off by this sort of pointless politicisation. 2A10:BCC6:EB4:0:5CFA:6296:E140:60DF (talk) 16:13, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Misandry. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 19:03, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I did no such thing; are you thinking of someone else?
There is a difference between stating facts people don't like and attacking them. On the contrary, user Binksternet has made several personal attacks against me and others in pursuit of his political goals. I chose not to respond. 2A10:BCC6:EB4:0:5CFA:6296:E140:60DF (talk) 19:37, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Casting aspersions on others such as accusing them of gaming the system is a personal attack, even if you don't name a specific user. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 20:28, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
