By attempting to dismiss valid concerns using spurious appeals to the rules, you are gaming the system by sending this communication (don't worry, I've no intention of doing anything about it, because I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you genuinely believe you're doing the right thing).

More to the point, within ten seconds of adding to that page I'd been accused of being some sort of activist, which is a mile from the truth, as well as against a lot of rules. I tolerated that because I'm keenly aware of the contention around the subject, but either way, you're not objecting to that, are you, because it came from Johnny-ten-million-edits, and he can't be wrong, can he?
