[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Orange Order, you may be blocked from editing. Get WP:CONSENSUS on the talk page for your proposed changes, which are controversial. Be aware that there is a restriction of one revert per day on Troubles-related articles (broadly construed, this page counts). Breaching that will see you blocked. Respectfully, there was no disruptive editing. The lead line of the article claimed it was a sectarian organisation. This description was supported by many sources cited in the article. I saw somebody removed that description, presumably because they disagreed with it, this same person did not cite a reason why they removed this description. I undid it.
I would disagree this is a troubles related page due to the subject matter predating the conflict by several centuries.
I feel offended you would immediately jump to this assumption, may I remind you the golden rule of Wikipedia is Wikipedia:Assume good faith - --2A00:23C7:9045:2001:8CE6:11A8:C851:85C2 (talk) 20:40, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for opening the talk page section. I responded there. The "Troubles-related pages" are broadly contrued and it's effectively a catch-all term - if Great Famine (Ireland) is included, then the Orange Order most certainly is! BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 10:37, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
