[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! DDMS123 (talk) 20:53, 29 April 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Clyde H. Mapping. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Royal Air Force—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Clyde H. . Euryalus (talk) 06:06, 2 May 2023 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
- Hi. I've temporarily blocked this IP address to call a brief halt to disruptive edits to the Royal Air Force article. I think your edits to the Royal Air Force article are in good faith, but many of them have messed up the page syntax or introduced fairly unnecessary elements like poorly captioned images or the "100th anniversary" pic. When edits are reverted the best course is to go to the article talkpage to discuss and reach consensus (see for example WP:BRD). If agreement is reached there, the edit can be added to the page. Hope this is helpful, and all the best with your editing after the block expires. -- Euryalus (talk) 06:12, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
