Ku Klux Klan

[edit]

KKK in the article described as a far-right movement is incorrect. KKK was a product of the Democrats, the southerners who wished to keep slavery intact and started the Civil War to get their way. Democrat President Woodrow Wilson was a sympathiser, to say the least, and he was not the only one in the era. It is unfair to shove the responsibility for this terrorist group, as you rightfully name them, into the conservative camp, since conservatives are accused of being far-right, these days, at every opportunity. Let's not forget that the Democrat Party was founded to protect the slave owners of the South and their way of life as well as their source of income. Although it seems the latter-day Democrat is eager to shove the guilt into the Republican camp. It were the Republicans who ended slavery in the USA. 2001:4C3C:4D03:2700:459E:9336:EE0D:FDE4 (talk) 13:54, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
