Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the one you made on Deepak Chopra. I greatly appreciate your constructive edits on Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in. If you like, you can create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits, such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (2603:9000:EB00:BA7:D1E7:4EA2:F681:FE2B) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on this page.
Again, welcome! Peaceray (talk) 15:31, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
Lvl 1 warning: (Terry Smiljanich)
[edit]Hello, I'm Raul Morar III. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Terry Smiljanich have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. - Hello. I may be mistaken, but all I recognize as having been undone by you are the archive links that I added to a few previously existing (not new) citations. I did so because of the following instruction at Help:Archiving a source#Internet Archive Wayback Machine: "Editors are encouraged to add an archive link as a part of each citation, or at least submit the referenced URL for archiving, at the same time that each citation is created or updated. New URLs added to Wikipedia articles (but not other pages) are usually automatically archived by a bot." If I am misunderstanding something, I am all ears. 2603:9000:EB00:BA7:D1E7:4EA2:F681:FE2B (talk) 16:11, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- According to English Wikipedia's policies & guidelines, I believe you are correct & that Raul Morar III made an error in reverting your edits. Peaceray (talk) 17:58, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for confirming my understanding of the policies/guidelines, but I now think I misinterpreted what Raul did and thus misrepresented the situation. I could have sworn that after seeing his "Warning," all of the archive dates that I added this morning were gone even after refreshing my screen. But I see that they are present now, and unless I am confused by the "View history" entries, his only action was that he "Undid" (at 15:15) the revision that I had already almost immediately realized was unnecessary and had "Reverted" myself three minutes earlier (15:12). If I am mistaken, please clarify, as I wish to fully understand the reason for the "Warning" if indeed it was warranted. 2603:9000:EB00:BA7:D1E7:4EA2:F681:FE2B (talk) 18:17, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- I believe Raul Morar III's warning was unwarranted. I have not reverted it because we have made subsequent comments to it, so my removal would violate WP:TALKO. However, you, 2603:9000:EB00:BA7:D1E7:4EA2:F681:FE2B, may archive or remove it as per WP:OWNTALK. Peaceray (talk) 18:25, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks very much. I have left it in place, and presumably unrelatedly, upon attempting to edit a page yesterday, a popup notified me that a wide IP address range encompassing mine (which randomly changes from time to time) has been disabled/blocked from the ability to edit until May 9, 2025, "in response to abuse." I have therefore finally created an Account (hopefully I will type the tildes correctly in this first effort at signing a Talk page), and my corresponding User Talk page will now replace this one. And just FYI, upon checking my computer's WiFi info a few minutes ago, my IP address has changed again (currently 2603:9000:eb00:ba7:1d78:580c:cf75:cf51). SaucerDown (talk) 18:19, 25 July 2024 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
