You cannot use the possibility of legal action as a chilling effect or as a cudgel to obtain a desired result in a discussion. Discussions should focus on logical arguments preferably based in Wikipedia policies. We cannot prevent the subject of an article from initiating legal action against Wikipedia or Wikipedia editors, but that possibility should not be used against Wikipedia editors. The Foundation's finances are stable, so fundraising effects are not our concern. You may be unblocked if you retract any and all legal threats and agree to not use the possibility of legal action against other editors- even if you don't intend to do it yourself. 331dot (talk) 12:00, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
