[edit]Hello, I'm HighPriestDuncan. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2020 San Diego City Attorney election have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Wikipedia is not in the business of dispensing opinions about the political alignment of nonpartisan candidates. HighPriestDuncan (talk) 01:56, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- all the other San Diego City Attorney election have political party's so I added it and didn't think it was a problem can I go back and add the partys 2603:8001:2902:64F4:4517:E4B6:A397:EAED (talk) 01:59, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- I did review your contributions and it looks like you are generally trying to make good-faith edits. I researched that office and the candidate elect, and although she may have received endorsements the election and office is nonpartisan HighPriestDuncan (talk) 02:22, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 1998 San Jose mayoral election. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 02:19, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

- I just replied to you on your talk page 2603:8001:2902:64F4:4517:E4B6:A397:EAED (talk) 02:25, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- I strongly recommend you bring your case on the talk pages of the relevant articles. Namely, please raise your concerns on Talk:1998 San Jose mayoral election and Talk:2002 San Jose mayoral election. Wikipedia is about verifiable information, so even if you know something is true, it cannot be added unless if it is verifiable. That is why your recent edits were reverted. I hope you understand and continue to contribute productively. Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 02:29, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- ok so have to add it on the talk page so can i still revert it? 2603:8001:2902:64F4:4517:E4B6:A397:EAED (talk) 02:31, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Only if the discussion leads to a consensus that supports your change. —C.Fred (talk) 02:33, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Wow, this is confusing. Pinging all involved contributors: @HighPriestDuncan, @David Biddulph, @C.Fred, @Materialscientist, @Sarrail, @Reppop. We should definitely raise this matter on the article's talk page, should an IP start the discussion. I don't know what you are trying to do looking at the talk page but what you are doing is something that definitely requires consensus. I suggest you use one of these talk pages to try to seek consensus per Wikipedia:BRD. Look forward to seeing you there! Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 02:42, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- (also please let me know if I missed anyone. I can't ping IP addresses but I can ping usernames.) Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 02:42, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Is this 74.62.14.55, based on their contributions? 'Cause I've had to revert them many times, and it looks like it is dealing with election-related articles. Sarrail (talk) 02:44, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- That's what I had assumed. It also seems that all 2603:8001:2902:64F4 addresses are the same person. reppoptalk 02:47, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

- You have never opened a talk page or tried to get consensus on anything, you just edit stuff without consensus. reppoptalk 21:35, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
