[edit]I clearly said "WP:NAVBOX". Feel free to read it before adding those templates. (CC) Tbhotch™ 03:40, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
- Is that what you use for Rock music? How do you make one for other genres?
- In the strict sense, navboxes are used to go from article A to article B without having to type anything (Metalcore, List of metalcore bands, etc). Heavy metal music is not linked in any of these navboxes (whichever the reason it is not linked from there). Unless they include HMM, the template is pointless as metalcore seems to be a sub-subgenre of HMM ("the combination of extreme metal and hardcore punk"--being extreme metal the subgenre of HMM). - Then why does Rock music have all its subgenres listed under it?
- I'm watching HMM, not Rock. Those questions belong there. The most likely answer, based on my experience, is that someone added any of those templates, and then more users started adding any rock-related template. According to WP:NAVBOX it is not forbidden, however, some sort of WP:consensus is required in order to add them and keep them. (CC) Tbhotch™ 03:59, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
