Regarding your recent zoo-related edits
[edit]Dear User,
Your enthusiasm for editing pages related to American zoos has recently come to my attention. Some of your edits have been good, but there are others that do not meet some of the guidelines for editing Wikipedia. As such, I wanted to reach out and resolve some of these issues personally. My hope is that bringing this to your attention will give you the tools you need to edit Wikipedia in the future. I am going to copy-and-paste this message on each IP address that I believe you have edited from, so respond on whichever one is the easiest for you to use so that we can have a productive conversation moving forward. Getting started on Wikipedia can be overwhelming, so I'll try my best to condense everything as much as possible.
To avoid future problems, I would first recommend creating an account so everything you contribute is under one page. Wikipedia strongly discourages sockpuppetry, or the misusage of multiple accounts. Remaining unregistered sort of bypasses this guideline, but I would still recommend creating one account so that you don't have to worry about this. Second, work on finding sources and citing them if you add information, such as future development plans for zoos. You might know something, but let us know where you got your information. If you need help with this, just let me know here or bring it up on a talk page, and I'm sure someone would love to help you (you can always tag me using the @ symbol).
If you have any question, please reply to whichever thread is most convenient for you. Please respond promptly, and I'll keep an eye out to see if we are both active at the same time. Happy editing! TNstingray (talk) 20:01, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
