[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Longest recorded sniper kills. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - wolf 04:22, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
Added note
[edit]You keep reverting the article to your preferred version. That is typically not done for a few reasons;
- The WP:BRD cycle: you "B"oddly made an edit. It was "R"everted. Since you disagree with that, the issue is then "D"iscussed.
- While there is a discussion taking place, the disputed content is not edited, until the discussion has resolved.* Until then, the page is typically left at WP:QUO.
(* - resolution can come in the form of an agreement, consensus, or via the Dispute Resolution process). - Just adding more posts to a talk page or adding new edit edit summaries does not justify continuous reverts. That is actually considered Edit Warring, and you want to avoid doing that. Is does not help resolve matters and can lead to a WP:BLOCK. Please keep these in mind. Meanwhile, I'm sure we can sort this out. - wolf 04:39, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Longest recorded sniper kills. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. - wolf 04:23, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
Added note
[edit]Many of your comments in your latest post there are directed at an editor instead of just focusing on content. These needless, snarky jabs do nothing to help move an discussion toward an agreement. Please focus on WP:EDITSNOTEDITORS. Thank you - wolf 04:39, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
Notice
[edit]Hi, IP users can't be pinged, so this notice is just to let you know there is a reply at Talk:Longest recorded sniper kills#confederate sniper kill. Also, I have added a couple other notices, along with some "welcome" templates here to your talk page. I hope you take a few moments to read through them. There is a great deal of useful information for new users to help get started and to learn your way around. There is also some information that is specific to some of the edits you've made recently. I think you should be aware of any policies & guidelines that are particularly relevant. You can use the Teahouse (noted above), the Help Desk (noted above), or the talk pages to discuss any matters (article talk pages for articles, user talk pages for ussrs). I hope you take advantage of the information made available for you here. Have a nice day - wolf 08:01, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
