Request reason:
- Please assign to @Asilvering. My IP address changes frequently and I no longer have access to reply on User talk:2601:42:0:4000:DD4F:69F:4BAA:50C *My reply: I attempted to make different edits on the Linguistic homeland article before a consensus was made. That was an error. Only one hypothesis on the original homeland of Niger-Congo speakers being shared on Wikipedia when there is currently no consensus among scholars is an error as well. My last suggestion was for the article to be updated from: “The homeland is thought to have been somewhere in the savanna belt of West Africa” to “The homeland is thought to have been somewhere in the savanna belt of Africa”. Literally just removed the word “West”. The update does not challenge the West African origin theory nor exclude the Niger-Congo languages of Sudan. 2601:42:0:4000:A556:D3C2:9020:94D7 (talk) 18:10, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
