Answer to your question

[edit]

I'm sorry if you feel editors are being 'obtuse' to a new editor like you. In answer to your question:

Hello! Can you explain why the original Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is in the List of music considered the worst? Thanks. 2600:8800:5A80:1394:78FF:1C1D:ACE1:877A (talk) 20:30, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First, I was as surprised as you to hear that. Although I never found the lead single all that impressive, I never could imagine experts classifying anything from the Beatles--with all their fame and popularity and uniqueness--as being among the worst. Nonetheless, the List_of_music_considered_the_worst has numerous independent reliable sources that make the claim. I guess you would have to argue with them.  :) Don't worry; be happy. ;) --David Tornheim (talk) 02:41, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In editing, I just came across this:

  • "It's official: Justin Bieber's Baby is YouTube's most 'disliked' video". Metro. 2011-06-30. Retrieved 2019-04-21.

If it's not in that article, maybe you would like to try to add it? You appear to have one source, unless other editors declare it unreliable. --David Tornheim (talk) 03:13, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

But keep in mind the point made here by Sergecross73. Don't do it to make a WP:POINT. They will call that "pointy"--Wikipedia jargon. I definitely suggest you read my tips to new editors. Feel free to ask me any questions as you have. Unfortunately, because you have posted at a very prominent page, many eyes will be on your edits--unlike most new editors. Use caution before making edits. You may even want to say what you propose to do before making any edits to any article on the article's talk page to be safe. I would recommend that until you get the hang of this place. --David Tornheim (talk) 03:46, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
