First, I was as surprised as you to hear that. Although I never found the lead single all that impressive, I never could imagine experts classifying anything from the Beatles--with all their fame and popularity and uniqueness--as being among the worst. Nonetheless, the List_of_music_considered_the_worst has numerous independent reliable sources that make the claim.
