[edit]Hello, I'm The Master of Hedgehogs. I noticed that you recently removed content from Edward Dale (burgess) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Master of Hedgehogs (converse) (hate that hedgehog!) 14:52, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Mr. Hedgehogs, I mean no disrespect to you. I just do not understand why you have chosen to adopt gossip and place it in a post. For instance, stating that Edward Dale may have had another wife before Diana Skipwith. Sir, with all due respect, the word "may" is not indicative of any fact. To be precise, we do not even know if Edward and Diana Skipwith were actually married. We do have some evidence that her brother certainly believed they were married. We know they lived together and raised children. In 17th century colonial Virginia, people had a different way of expressing themselves. The change from middle English to early modern English was very difficult for those people and for us to understand. Just so you know I do not play or experiment in matters concerning my family. lol. 2600:1700:3AF0:7140:9983:988:9BBC:E8B0 (talk) 18:38, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on User talk:The Master of Hedgehogs. I wasn't trying to tell you to go play in the sandbox. I was simply telling you that you can experiment in the sandbox. - Master of Hedgehogs (converse) (hate that hedgehog!) 18:08, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
