LeAnn Rimes pages

[edit]

First of all, calm down. We can have a civilized conversation. Wikipedia is a collaborative space, and I don't want to have "my way" for the sake of it, I want to provide Wikipedia with accurate, sourced information. You wrote quite a bit and honestly a lot of it just comes across as unhinged yelling. As for removing other (possibly positive) things you have added, it is much easier to revert your changes than to sift through everything you've changed that may or may not be accurate. What you added to You Light Up My Life (Inspirational Songs) about the Japanese bonus track was helpful and I added it back even before your long messages. Songs can be from more than one album and I can provide you with numerous examples on Wikipedia. For the following:

"How Do I Live" and You Light Up My Life (Inspirational Songs)

1. "Taken from" means a release is promoting that record. This is almost always an indicator of a single. See the single releases: [1] [2]
2. You are also ignoring the other listed source, which states: "Later that year, Rimes released You Light Up My Life (Inspirational Songs) [...] It produced the number one hit 'How Do I Live'".

"Looking Through Your Eyes"

Multiple single releases not only say the song is taken from the album but actually picture the album on the back. See: [3]

I Need You

The issues of this album should be listed chronologically in the track listings. Whether or not you consider the original release to be "unofficial" does not matter. It was officially released by the record company, so please stop changing this to suit your preferences.

"But I Do Love You"

1. The Billboard source I added mentions a new mix of "But I Do Love You" being sent to radio, and that it is included on I Need You.
2. Again, single releases say it is taken from I Need You; in this case, both albums are shown: [4]

"Unchained Melody"

I think you know where I'm going with this one. [5] Though it was featured on a Target bonus, it was released as a single to promote Unchained Melody: The Early Years.

Please gather your thoughts before responding instead of yelling at me on my talk page. Breaktheicees (talk) 05:08, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
