Fake warnings should be removed. 2600:1012:A021:D999:9CAF:FB34:62C4:2D78 (talk) 17:00, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever. You removed a warning for this edit. Drmies (talk) 17:01, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please see the context. These fake warnings were posted at a bunch of different editors by a single-day IP editor acting as a fake mod. See here for what I mean. 2600:1012:A021:D999:9CAF:FB34:62C4:2D78 (talk) 17:06, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And yet, you removed a warning that was given for this edit. What is the point of removing warnings, mostly on IP talk page and in a couple of cases in archives, from two years ago? Exactly--there is no point. If you want to comment, you can write up a note with some diffs and copy and paste that on pages where editors were not vandalizing, but what you are doing right now is disruptive, useless, and a waste of time. Drmies (talk) 17:08, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Reread the responses to here for context. All warnings by this IP user are fake. (A legitimate warning would not jump immediately to "may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia" for an innocuous or good-faith edit.)
And why did you revert the edits I made to Baltic Sea? That had nothing to do with what came after the Baltic Sea edits, which is when I discovered this user's fake warnings and wanted to clean them up so as to not leave misleading warnings. You coming to revert me is what's waste of time. 2600:1012:A021:D999:9CAF:FB34:62C4:2D78 (talk) 17:11, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, part of the mass rollback. But no, not all warnings were fake: I pointed to two already that were valid. Drmies (talk) 17:21, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
