[edit]Hello, I'm KylieTastic. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Donna Pokere-Phillips have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. KylieTastic (talk) 22:28, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- Donna is not and has never been a lawyer remove all references to that 2406:E006:4426:6001:8023:865:25BF:C817 (talk) 22:29, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- She holds a Master of Laws, and one of the references that you deleted refers to "Māori Party candidate for Hauraki-Waikato and lawyer, Donna Pokere-Phillips" (emphasis added by me). That gives us enough to retain and reference the info. But if we're missing something, can you explain how RNZ got it wrong? Elguaponz (talk) 22:56, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- they got it wrong I know here she is and has never been a lawyer - I will be getting media onto this 2406:E006:4426:6001:8023:865:25BF:C817 (talk) 23:07, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you think the media will do, but I'll be happy to explain to them that we're referencing a fact reported by RNZ. Right now you are an anonymous account claiming to know someone, which doesn't carry any weight. But we want this article to be accurate. If she's never been a lawyer then your best option is to find an acceptable reference for that. If there's a source out there which shows us that she was never a lawyer, then we can weigh it against the RNZ report and make a decision. I've noticed that she's not on the current Law Society registry, which is a start. Elguaponz (talk) 23:45, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- I've started a topic about this on the article's Talk page. There's the one RNZ reference that mentions "lawyer", but not much else out there. Hopefully someone can find and share a source that confirms things for us. Elguaponz (talk) 00:00, 15 August 2022 (UTC)

- she holds Masters of law BUT that is not professionals and admission to the bar - she is not a lawyer you are spreading disinformation 2406:E006:4426:6001:8023:865:25BF:C817 (talk) 00:46, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
