- Wow!
- Thanks for the welcome, but here we go again....
Another new IP
[edit]- Somehow I've gotten another IP (without ever doing anything to trigger it). Once again this has washed out a history now of several thousand sound edits.
- Last time I created a link to the previous IP; guess I will have to research where that record resides and link to it. Man, this is tiresome. 24.61.220.85 (talk) 12:46, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- Try to create a user page. This will help you, since it is not linked to a fixed IP address. Good luck. FriyMan (talk) 12:53, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Approximately 1,500 edits between September 25, 2016 and December 23, 2016.
From the User:50.163.88.251 Talk page:
- For some unknown reason my IP address was arbitrarily changed from 71.233.84.208 to 50.163.88.251 some time after August 23, 2016. I did nothing technically to cause it - no new computer, provider, motherboard, or such - and had no sanctions of any sort pending against me at Wikipedia. Just a completely clean history of some 1,856 edits in 2016 alone, each and every one to my knowledge having an edit summary, and a record both of capable, conscientious changes to this encyclopedia and sharing the Wikipedia sandbox well with its users. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (24.61.220.85) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a new Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. [edit]Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Mitochondrial Eve— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit]Hello, I'm Cyrus noto3at bulaga. I noticed that you recently removed content from Triumph TR6 without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. cyɾʋs ɴɵtɵɜat bʉɭagɑ!!! This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
