please forgive me if I am not doing this properly as I don't quite understand how to maneuver the talk page, or most pages yet. I think there may have been an error for my block as I have been paying attention to said page due to vandalism over the last month or so. The information I deleted 2 days ago was unsourced damaging info that could hurt the living persons character, job, family and life all around without any sources/proof to add along with it. I do know a week ago I made a mistake when trying to remove the social media aspect of things and ended up adding my explanation to the Wikipedia page instead. I am not sure how I did that and I do apologize. I know it looked rather messy. I was simply trying to remove the Social Media section as some of those SM accounts are the living persons personal/private accounts that were added during the vandalizing last month. I thought being that they were private and the others weren't used in many years, that it wasn't necessary on the page. I apologize if I overstepped in making this decision. Thank you for your time. 2001:56A:FBE3:6E00:919C:FB91:9A69:B3B8 (talk) 03:08, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Someone on this IP address was violating the Biographies of Living Persons policy by posting inappropriate information about a person. The edits were not as you describe here. 331dot (talk) 09:58, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

I am sorry, I am not sure how to respond in the talk section so I am just using the same format. I was the one removing the inappropriate edits. I actually cannot comprehend why some of the stuff that gets said, does. I guess I am naive in that way. I would never violate someone's biography whether they were living or deceased. Someone reporting anyone of inappropriate behaviour with a minor is a very serious accusation and very inappropriate especially if there are no sources which is why I removed it but I did take a screenshot of it which I believe includes the users IP address? It has a long list of numbers at the bottom, so whatever that is. I am not very tech savvy so I am not sure if there is a way to send it to someone on here. Was I wrong to remove that? 75.159.21.252 (talk) 17:24, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

. Connormah (talk) 17:04, 7 March 2023 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
