Stop edit warring on the article talk page. The topic you are trying to write about is off topic for the article on the statue. Don't try and lecture people on your own personal opinions: we write encyclopaedia entries based on a neutral point of view, not the political leanings of a passing IP who can't write properly. If you actually read what has been written in the discussion - and engage your brain when you do so - you will see I suggested an alternative version that was in place for most of yesterday and was only changed this morning. In case you are unable to understand the full discussion, the text I proposed and that was accepted reads "... statue of Edward Colston, who had been involved in the Atlantic slave trade, had been toppled, defaced and pushed into the city's harbour by George Floyd protesters the previous month". "Science"? LOL - your semi-literate ramblings about the confederate cause and toenails show you have only a semi-informed grasp. You are rambling on the talk page about a new artwork, not the article about Colston himself, or the original statue. You are also addressing your comments to the wrong person.
