Welcome!
[edit]Hello, 216Cali, and welcome to Wikipedia! I am CTSWyneken. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~).
- Provide an Edit summary
- Take a look at Consensus of standards. It is always wise to read the talk page of an existing article before making major changes on it. Even then, I typically ask if anyone minds that I make a change. Very often they do! ;-)
- Create a User page
Again, welcome! And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. --CTSWyneken(talk) 22:03, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Personal attacks
[edit]Regarding this edit in which you call me an "idiot"; Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by admins or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:20, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Condoleezza Rice
[edit]Re: "There was tremendous research put into this section and it was edited down to remove all of the relevant citations and information. No subsequent discussion defines why." You have apparently not read much of the discussion which is rather detailed about why this information was rewritten, expanded, and moved from the introduction to a separate section. --Dystopos 13:07, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
