User talk:213.92.29.229
Hello, I'm HaeB. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, 213.92.29.229. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Collezione Maramotti, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Your IP address resolves to Max Mara. Max Mara is owned by the Maramotti family, which also owns the Collezione Maramotti. You have a clear and obvious conflict of interest. Spam
[edit]Hi! You've been adding a lot of links to, and references to, the Collezione Maramotti. As I explained above, you have an obvious conflict of interest in that area, and should not on any account be attempting to promote it here. In case it's not already completely clear to you from the messages left for you on this page by HaeB and Serols, those links are neither needed nor wanted in Wikipedia – they are regarded as WP:LINKSPAM. I've removed a lot of them, and want to make clear that if you add any more I intend to (a) ask for your IP (or perhaps your whole IP range) to be blocked from editing and (b) remove the few remaining links to www.collezionemaramotti.org, and ask for it to be added to the spam blacklist so that no link to it can be included in Wikipedia. Chiaro? Se hai difficoltà a capire l'inglese, te lo posso spiegare in italiano, basta chiedere. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:15, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
Cordialmente

[edit]Hello, I'm CASSIOPEIA. I noticed that in this edit to Max Mara, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 12:54, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
