Removing notices from a Talk page
[edit]Hello – assuming you are the same editor! You might want to know that it is fine to remove most warnings from your Talk page - you don't need to explain it or anything. Just zap it. The assumption is that someone removed it because they read it, so it's fine. There are a couple of things you can't remove, like the Shared IP notice, but vandalism warnings and stuff are perfectly OK - just delete away. The comment in the edit summary about the previous user having not seen it is neither here nor there - I can't know that and neither can you, so it's a bit moot. Cheers and happy editing - whether you're that one or the one after or whoever! DBaK (talk) 16:01, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
- PS Yeah, you can remove all this message too! :) DBaK (talk) 16:02, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
