I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to 2015-16 Serie A2 Basket— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Proposed deletion of Piero Bucchi

[edit]

The article Piero Bucchi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (biographies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you. This proposed deletion was started by User:Piotrus

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with the New Basket Brindisi team's logo because it is outdated. Since 2014 they have a new logo that you can find in the Italian language Wikipedia (Here: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Basket_Brindisi) and the new logo as you can see is a little bit different from the logo that appears on the English team's page. I don't know how to upload a file like that. Could someone try to do that? Even if you decide to not change the logo, please tell me how can I do if I would like to upload a photo in the future. Thank you so much!

Venice airports

[edit]

Please read our guidelines before making changes to airport names. We only use official airport names and no marketing brandings for low-cost airlines, therefore Venice Marco Polo Airport is VENICE while Treviso Airport is TREVISO. We do NOT use "Venice-Marco Polo" or "Venice-Treviso" as Venice officially has only one airport and no distinguishment is needed. Therefore, all of your edits have been undone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.244.140.130 (talk) 08:14, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Basketball player categories

[edit]

Team and associated categories are added AFTER the player has appeared in a regulation game for the team. For existence, in the case of Tony Carr (basketball), the categories Category:American expatriate basketball people in Italy, Category:Auxilium Pallacanestro Torino players and Category:Lega Basket Serie A players should not be added to Carr’s article until he plays a game for the new club. This is true for all basketball leagues. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 00:55, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

[edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!
