Adding publications details to articles

[edit]

Please put in ISBN as well - saves checking library catalogues for authenticity issues - thanks SatuSuro 07:07, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is possible to make a table of the 1912 disaster victims - would you like to learn how to make one? SatuSuro 05:54, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you are going to keep up the rate of editing - I would strongly advise creating an account SatuSuro 06:06, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Casualty list

[edit]

You are going to have source your list - it is discrepant from brownes in the external link - otherwise if you cannot we will have to change it to the browne version - so if you can please attend to that? thanks SatuSuro 15:12, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE identify your source - otherwise an editor might come along and revert all your good work - and also - much better to get an account name!!! The information is so different between sources - some extra notes might have to explain the variations. Please answer these messages otherwise your hard work is potentially at risk SatuSuro 23:48, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

These are sourced from reliable sources, as you will now note on the page when you read the information under "casualties"

Looks like you havent had much experience on wikipedia - do you need help to work talk or other aspects? SatuSuro 00:06, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK pesky red links - have created the situation where North Lyell (great photo in Blainey of that disappeared location) is now redirected into North Mount Lyell - however to have a place of abode as Mt Lyell Tasmania is potentially a dubious locality - any ideas whether that should be reidrected to north mount lyell or gormanston? Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Denis Walter, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Longhair\talk 05:51, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Tipperary GAA, was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Húsönd 02:23, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page CPA Australia has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/CPAaustralia/ (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:55, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

If you want to tag them as dead links, that would be fine. Better, find working links for them. --Ronz (talk) 01:30, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm 70.71.160.24. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! 70.71.160.24 (talk) 04:13, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at CPA Australia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Cynko (talk) 06:11, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to CPA Australia, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. I would also like to add that if you continue in this disruptive behaviour, particularly since this IP seems to be closely associated with CPA Australia, I will take further action. Siegfried Nugent (talk) 03:09, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
