User talk:2021music
Hi, I see that my addition to the Edgard Varese list of external links has been undone by Ally D. The Pytheas Center for Contemporary Music's listings are fluid and always open for expansion. Since the Varese Wikipedia link was first edited the Pytheas Center's webpage has been revised to include many articles and information not collected anywhere else. I do DISAGREE with Ally D that the Pytheas list has minimal content and maximal advertising. One of the main goals of the Pytheas Center is to organize widely disbursed information relevant to a particular composer or music group/association, thereby making exploration of the subject much easier. The advertising that appears on the Pytheas page is there so that Pytheas can exist on the web. Our budget at this point in time is $0, so we must rely on Bravenet and its advertisers for "support". Any listing or links on Pytheas pages is there because of the possibility of FREE access to those exploring a particular composer or group. Therefore, last.fm, Rhapsody, The New York Times and other commercial sites are listed because they make SOME streaming audio and related informational articles available to everyone FOR FREE. All the more resources for those exploring music that is new to them. I will be returning the Pytheas link to the Wikipedia Edgard Varese page. Please let me know of any other concerns regarding this link addition. Thank you - 2021music 2021music (talk) 00:37, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello, greetings and welcome to wikipedia!. Your additions appear to be in good faith, and I hope you will stick around and contribute to wikipedia for time to come ;). However, you should refrain from adding links with which you have a conflict of interest 2021, as proposed by the wikipedia community -- see wikipedia:conflict of interest . Regardless of whether the links are appropriate, you should not be adding links to sites with which you are professionally involved. Again, hope you stick around -- feel free to drop any questions my way. Standard welcome follows:
