Dear Administrators,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to respectfully request an unblock and to clarify a misunderstanding that I believe led to my current block. From my first day of editing, I have always strived to follow Wikipedia's policies and contribute positively to the community, and I believe the block placed on me was due to an unfortunate mistake.

To provide some context: I was blocked by user Bbb23, who apparently mistook me for another user's socket puppet. However, I am not a sock puppet and have no connection to any previously blocked user. After my IP was unblocked, I contacted user Ponyo on her talk page to explain that I was not a socket puppet, but rather the subject of the article, and even posted this on my own talk page. Unfortunately, these messages were removed by Bbb23 and my IP was blocked again. However, I have made every effort to explain the situation.

In addition, I have contacted Wikimedia to clarify this misunderstanding and to confirm that my identity can be verified through a Zoom call if necessary to clear up any confusion about my IP and contributions.

I want to contribute to pages related to my field of work and share verifiable, useful information with the community. I understand the importance of adhering to Wikipedia's policies and assure you that my edits will continue to respect the platform's guidelines. I may also improve the draft by adding reliable sources that meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria and ensure neutrality.

Thank you for your reply. I have taken the time to look at the page you linked to, and I understand the concerns raised regarding meat puppetry, which mentions "some individuals may promote their cause by bringing like-minded editors into the dispute, including enlisting support off-wiki". However, I would like to clarify that no one brought me here, and I have not been recruited or influenced by anyone to edit or promote any cause. I came here entirely of my own accord, and acted in good faith. Meat puppetry, as described, does not apply to my situation, as I am not editing on behalf of or at the request of anyone, nor am I attempting to influence any decisions in a coordinated manner. If you look at my edits to the draft, you will see that I sought to improve the article by adding reliable sources and following Wikipedia's guidelines. My goal was simply to submit it for a fair review. I also had a constructive discussion with the reviewer, who reconsidered his decision. I can assure you that I edited in good faith, and I feel that the block was based purely on the assumption that I was a sock puppet, which I am not. I would like to ask you again to reconsider the block so that I can continue to make positive contributions to the platform.

There is no conundrum here. If you have nothing to offer other than "I'm not a sock", this is the end of the road. If you have something new to offer, like how you came to know of the existence of a draft about you, as drafts are not easy to find without knowing they exist. I have written to them again as suggested and sent them this link to our communication thread so they can reply as requested.

Alternatively, can you provide me with an email so that I can forward to you the emails I have exchanged with them so far?

This will allow you to see first hand and prove my veracity.

Well, according to Wikipedia guidelines it is ill advised to write about yourself, though it is not absolutely forbidden. I don't need to see their emails. Be advised that what you describe is what WP:MEAT refers to; "A new user who engages in the same behavior as another user in the same context, and who appears to be editing Wikipedia solely for that purpose, may be subject to the remedies applied to the user whose behavior they are joining."
