The Reverend A Quinn Hopper, aka Brother Hopper, aka Brother Anthony, nick name Tony, The Tony Hopper Ministries International, Ministry of ENCOURAGEMENT, Missionary Baptist preacher & Bible teacher working with children at Summer camp.
As a 3rd grader he would walk to Sunday school at Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of The Reverend AW Lott. November 1963 at 12 years old he accepted Christ in to his heart and was baptized plus he joined the church as a member.

He danced on THE GONG SHOW on NBC TV 1977, danced to the song "Will it go round in circles" by Billy Preston. (A.F.T.R.A. union member since 1977)
Volunteer, in the LA county;started as a high school student at Manual Arts High, he volunteered during
recess & lunch for 3 years(1967-1969)as a cashier. Friday night dances he was the DJ.
During election for both the city & county (1986-1993,2005)as a poll inspector.
For over 13 years, he drove for LACMTA in LA County as a bus operator.(1994-2007)
As a Sr Accounting clerking, working long term (six months assignments)for over 12 years in the Miracle Mile & Beverly Hills area.
While working part time in high school in the evening, he would help the football team during game as a supply clerk.
His first year in college, he coach a flag football team;sixth graders in Watts at Will Rogers.
Game management at both USC football games & UCLA basketball games (1986-1993) The Rose Bowl on new year's day plus in 1993 the SUPER BOWL at the Rose Bowl.
He ran a phone bank for JESSE JACKSON FOR PRESIDENT 1988.
A hobby of collecting things, while working inside of LAX;met travelers from around the world & they would send back postcards from their country & he was able to show the postcards to his Sunday school students.
After 2 1/2 years on the newspaper staff in high school;he throw newspapers for both the SouthWest Wave & the LA Times. for a few year.
Did little odd jobs, 1976 he watched a ROLL ROYCE all night during the Winter months. Worked at Frederick's of Hollywood doing payroll for 400 stores in 28 states plus main office & warehouse in Hollywood. Answered phones for a casting office on HOLLYWOOD & VINE. Worked as a shipping clerk for both May Company & JW Robinson's Department warehouse & JJ Newberry.
While on the radio, he did work in the community at park concerts as the MC;FESTIVAL IN BLACK sponsored by LA PARKS & REC.,WATTS SUMMER FESTIVAL at Will Rogers Park, Western Golf Country Club as a DJ at the dances.
"I love a parade" was in the WATTS CHRISTMAS PARADE in 1968, Hollywood Christmas Parade in 1974, King Day Parade 1988-94, 2000.

FRIENDSHIP: While in grade school, he met Harold Wayne Majors and they remain friend. At 14 years old, he met a life friend, Diane Brown, they remained friends. Harold moved back to Texas where he was born, Waco. Diane has lived in Southern Ca., a few different cities over 40 years but they are still friends.
