References for the DSF page
[edit]Inline references from parties other than DSF are needed for the article. Take a look at an article like Alpha Phi Omega for examples of references in the text as well as references which aren't *from* DSF. While I know that DSF exists, there need to be 3rd party references (like ABS-CBN stories or school websites, etc)Naraht (talk) 15:54, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- Inline references are for specific facts. For example, if an article on the philstar website was a third party reference to the fact that DSF was founded on October 2, 1978, then after the period in that sentence, you would have <ref>[http://www.philstar.com/article_mentioning_it Delta Sphinx family happy at 25]</ref> or something similar.Naraht (talk) 13:30, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
The article Delta Sphinx Family has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article fails notability criteria on multiple points:
- WP:ORGSIG - Article subject failed to receive notice or coverage from independent sources (publications, news sources). All references cited by the article are self-published sources.
- WP:ADPROMO - Majority of article content reads like a promo. When removed, very little encyclopedic content remains.
- WP:COIEDIT - Article appears to have been authored and mostly written by a person directly connected with the organization.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PritongKandule-✉️📝 08:32, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
