Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! clpo13(talk) 19:21, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Meters. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Stay off my talk page. Meters (talk) 06:27, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
LOL, I see you deleted what he wrote. When someone writes that I'm "Blathering", then they are asking for it. Not to mention he started attacking my degrees etc. I'm retired military and there is only one way to do this stuff, the right way, no politics, no pandering to the latest outrage of people. If this place is ever going to be taken seriously, then it needs to be facts laid out in an unbiased way so people can get info in a logic order. Not fed information that causes opinions to be formed before you get through five words. Ten years ago, nobody cared about how many slaves a General had. It has nothing to do with the War and what most people, I can guarantee, come to read about. They want to know information pertaining to war, battles, commands, etc. Take Care 1976mkeith8 (talk) 07:39, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as you did at Talk:Sterling Price, you may be blocked from editing. I made a mistake on this page, and I already explained, apologized and undid it. There's no need to comment on it, and comments about me or about edits on other subjects have no place on this article's talk page. Meters (talk) 19:20, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
