Renaming
[edit]Hey. I opened a discussion about renaming Primera Division season articles at Talk:Primera División Argentina 2009–10. Your input would be appreciated. Thanks. Digirami (talk) 01:12, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent edit to the page 2010 FIFA World Cup schedule appears to have added incorrect information and has been reverted or removed. All information in this encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable, published source. If you believe the information that you added was correct, please cite the references or sources or before making the changes, discuss them on the article's talk page. Please use the sandbox for any tests that you wish to make. Do take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. The match is not over. 2010 FIFA World Cup schedule is not a goal-by-goal table but only for final scores. Also, I have noticed your Anglicising of other pages. While I do not object to those, there is the policy of precedence: the first edit, outside of stub status, should be maintained. The fact that when the group of sixteen is finalized the usage may change again. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:03, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- There is no need to "correct" the match numbers on 2010 FIFA World Cup schedule. The matches are not played in sequential order. See http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/index.html --Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:55, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- The match between France and Mexico is the 20th, not the 18th, and I think this must be changed because is not correct. After all, the schedule is chronological. 1969 (talk) 13:59, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- While the match may be the twentieth played, it is Match 18 as you can clearly see on http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/index.html . --Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:37, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
There is no need to change the info back to say Match 50. Saying the score and "in progress" is something that's been done already and is not wrong. CycloneGU (talk) 19:53, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
2011 US Open (tennis)
[edit]Hello there! Your recent updates of 2011 US Open (tennis) are not in consensus with WP:TENSCR, which stipulates that tennis scores must be documented with ndash symbols and that tiebreak scores must be placed in parent. Please familiarise yourself with this and other rules before updating tennis results in any pages. Thank you! Prayerfortheworld (talk) 04:18, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. When you recently edited 2012 NBA Playoffs, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bill Kennedy (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Largest margin victory
[edit]The USA win today is the largest margin in Team USA history. However, it is not the largest in Olympic history as Korea defeated Iraq 120-20 (100 pts) in 1948.[1]
I tried to add that reference, but it wouldn't let me. Please revise the statement that you put on there. Thanks.
I see that you have re-introduced text about the game into this template. I had removed it earlier as IMO it looks clumsy at United_States_at_the_2012_Summer_Olympics#Men.27s_tournament, also 2012 United States men's Olympic basketball team has more detailed prose that doesn't mesh aesthetically with text added from this template. One option would be to include the full game summary into this template, but not all articles that use this template want that type of detail.—Bagumba (talk) 17:13, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for recording the referee for the 2014 final. In the future, when putting in new information like this, place a citation afterwards. Some editors - not me a lot of the time - are sceptical about any new information without a reference. '''tAD''' (talk) 19:11, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
