Account?

[edit]

Hi! Since you seem to be as industrious an editor as anyone around here, you should consider making an account. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Why_create_an_account%3F
Have a good one. :-) -- Writtenonsand (talk) 23:22, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cha-cha-cha

[edit]

Traditionally danced by Cubans with the first step on 2, and the cha-cha-cha on 4 and 1. Can be heard very clearly on Beny Moré's recording of Santa Isobel de las Lachas (his home town). If the arrangement syncopates all the beats, then obviously dancers can do it anyway they please. But international latin competitions do demand the original timing. For teaching purposes, some teach beginners to start on two, whereas others start with the cha-cha-cha. This makes no difference so long as they fit correctly into the music. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Sources?

[edit]

I left a note about some of this at Binoculars but also re: Talk:Bokeh, can you suggest reliable sources for your suggestions? (you don't have to if you don't want, prodding other editors with ideas is fine) We can see this stuff but we need more to add it. Usually when I notice something I google book search it and say "oh yea, some guy wrote about it". That's what we need for this kind of thing, the other guy writing about it (a secondary source). Hello, I'm Torreslfchero. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Ultra-mobile PC, because to me it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks, Torreslfchero (talk) 16:21, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:26, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
