[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Daniel Roche (actor), did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.
- Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
- ClueBot NG produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
- The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Daniel Roche (actor) was changed by 194.176.105.142 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.882776 on 2011-10-05T19:27:10+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 19:27, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

July 2012 Study of authors of health-related Wikipedia pages
[edit]Dear Authors under the IP address 194.176.105.142
My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address recently edited an article on Barrett's Osophagus. I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page (Hydra_Rain) and if interested, please visit my Talk page or e-mail me on nusa.faric.11@ucl.ac.uk. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance. Hydra Rain (talk) 17:05, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Demiurge1000. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living person on Francis Maude, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 19:26, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to David Cardoza— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Serols (talk) 15:26, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

[edit]I have reverted your deleted text at KE family. Your claim "the incorrect information that the KE family were of Pakistani origin" is groundless, and on the contrary, reports are explicit in saying they are of Pakistani origin. Start reading the very first citation. What you did was simply vandalism. Chhandama (talk) 02:31, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm VictorSergienko. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your reverts to Java Database Connectivity. Please read the edit's comments, they describe and validate the edits. Particularly, this: http://stackoverflow.com/a/581889/207791, or this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6083248. I also encourage you not to leave insulting comments. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to School of Medicine, University of Manchester, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Edith Cavell
[edit]Hi, I've reverted your well-intentioned addition to Edith Cavell because the Peterborough hospital is already listed at List of dedications to Edith Cavell. The main page only carries actual memorials, the list of dedications grew to be longer than the article and was moved some time ago to its own page. Regards, Martin of Sheffield (talk) 21:02, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bideford A.F.C.. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
When something you add to an article is removed, with a valid reason given or that it was "unsourced" -- i.e., it has no citation from a reliable source so that the information could be verified - then do not' simply stick it back in without fixing the problems. That is called edit warring and it can get you blocked from editing. Eagleash (talk) 13:33, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
