Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, and welcome! I noticed your your contributions and I wanted to say thanks.

It's just fine to continue editing without logging in, but I encourage you to create an account if you'd like to become a Wikipedian. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and offers many benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (182.178.147.22) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions. Again, welcome! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:10, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I'm a bot created by another Wikipedia editor. I wanted to let you know that I removed a link that you recently added to the page Video here. I did this because http://media-programm.blogspot.com/2011/11/4-minutes-to-remember-911-tribute.html is probably inappropriate for an encyclopedia. We usually avoid linking to blogs, forums, and social media sites.

We appreciate your help in making Wikipedia better for everyone. If I made a mistake, feel free to undo my edit. If you have any questions, you can ask at the Help desk.

Thank you! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:10, 22 November 2011 (UTC) If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Image do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.
I did this because http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xJhfVowo0Z4/Tsp5gJ1h9SI/AAAAAAAAATk/8kd6LuH4KOg/s1600/nature.gif is probably inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Instead of linking to an external image, you can find images already available or use the upload wizard if you'd like to add new free content.

We appreciate your help in making Wikipedia better for everyone. If I made a mistake, feel free to undo my edit. If you have any questions, you can ask at the Help desk.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Photography. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.

Please stop adding external links, as you did to Entertainment. These links reduce the value of Wikipedia for the readers who depend on us for reliable information. If you continue adding external links of this kind, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

This is your last warning; the next time you harm Wikipedia, as you did at Clip with this edit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. —Entropy (T/C) 08:37, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
