Please note that per your edit summary:

Scottish is only used when the person is born to two Scots.

Incorrect. You just need to be born in Scotland regardless of where your parents were born.

As she is half Filipina, she cannot be pure Scottish but British.

Incorrect. She was born in Scotland. There is no such thing as pure Scottish.

Many natives consider half breeds as British

Here in the UK your use of the phrase half breeds is consider offensive. Please don't use this language again.

I am a Scottish born UK citizen. Sciencefish (talk) 13:18, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I’m sorry to offend you, but the “identity thing” in Great Britain is a controversial issue to me.
I consider it a strict rule, especially for women. If a Scottish woman marries a non-Scottish man, her children will cease to be to be Scottish and will be called “British” instead. There are many “British” people in Scotland (southern part) because they don’t have Scottish ancestry or are born in England or Wales.
Even for Scottish men -although it’s more common to intermarry- it's usually frowned upon to intermarry, especially in rural areas, and I don't support it either because children pick up a lot from their mother. Because of the high divorce rate, children will be more “British”.
Moreover, how can half breeds identify as Scottish by other Scots surrounding them? Scotland has a different culture compared to England, especially when it comes to languages (Scots and Scottish Gaelic) or religion (Church of Scotland) for example. The same goes for Wales. Moreover, Scotland is not independent yet and it will never happen.

Your sentence on using foul language makes no sense as I don’t use offensive language at all. Thank you. 178.51.64.144 (talk) 10:17, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Nonsense. And yes, "half breed" is both offensive and bigoted, as is you insistence on imaginary purity. If you do this again you will lose editing privileges. And no, you may not demand that other editors tell you anything of the kind or be disqualified for not agreeing with you. Acroterion (talk) 19:05, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
“And yes, "half breed" is both offensive and bigoted, as is you insistence on imaginary purity.”
Nope, it’s an opinion, not “nonsense”. I, as a Scot would never accept intermarriages, neither with other white British nor Americans like you, I’m very traditional. Say what you want, I personally don’t care, my point still stands. 178.51.64.144 (talk) 20:36, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You should also be aware that Wikipedia style is to identify the person's nationality in the lead sentence, not their ethnicity. Schazjmd (talk) 19:13, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So? A half Filipino is not Scottish, the person is either British or simply Filipino. In the Philippines Christina Chalk passes as a Filipina.178.51.64.144 (talk) 20:40, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Scottish people aren't a distinct group. They are the children left over from Vikings killing off the men who used to populate the isles and abandoning the women once their raids were returning home. Lets call them vikingettes, as they aren't pure viking. 12.74.53.1 (talk) 21:10, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you keep using this page as a soapbox for your personal views on racial purity and language, and sexism ("especially women") you'll lose access to it entirely. Acroterion (talk) 21:43, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
