Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (173.252.9.177) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! --đŚDrWho42 (đ ) 02:33, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Adult Swim (Canada), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to materialâsuch as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiencesâfor which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 02:25, 31 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Adult Swim (Canada). Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 04:26, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Action (Canadian TV channel), you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 04:26, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genres in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at Gary Beals. Binksternet (talk) 04:28, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks!  Aloha27  talk 15:57, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit]Hello, I'm Cassiopeia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Oh What a Feeling: A Vital Collection of Canadian Music, but you didn't provide a source. Iâve removed it for now, but if youâd like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Cassiopeia talk 03:31, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
