[edit]Hello, I'm Pishcal. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Pi Kappa Phi without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Pi Kappa Phi, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Deunanknute (talk) 04:24, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Women in Hong Kong has been reverted.
Your edit here to Women in Hong Kong was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I7k7w-hdiY) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 23:09, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Women in Hong Kong. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 23:09, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Number are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. — Anita5192 (talk) 23:18, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
- To follow on here, please don't have off-topic conversations with yourself at other editors' talk pages either. At best it's a distraction. If you want to experiment with Wikipedia you can try editing the sandbox page at Wikipedia:Sandbox, or if you make an account you can create test pages as subpages of your user page. But public talk pages have a purpose (talking about improving wikipedia articles / communicating with other editors about improving wikipedia articles), and it's disruptive to use them for jokes or off-topic chitchat. If you persist with similar nonsense, your IP may be temporarily blocked from editing. –jacobolus (t) 23:43, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
