Information icon Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that you recently removed content from Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - DVdm (talk) 21:14, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that feedback and suggestion.145.40.206.159 (talk) 02:16, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Copyedits

[edit]

Hello, I notice you have been copy editing various classical music-related articles lately. While I do not intend to diminish or question their usefulness, would you be willing to consider doing them in parts (i.e. edit one section of an article, then another one, etc.)? This would make it easier for other editors to keep track of such changes and judge their merits, as Wikipedia's "Difference between revisions" functionality can often bemuse rather than enlighten. Thank you. Toccata quarta (talk) 11:28, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for letting me know. It's a shame the software functions that way.145.40.206.159 (talk) 02:16, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Splitting your edits into several parts also has the benefit of partial reverts. Often editors will not agree with all of your changes, and can then revert individual edits, rather than everything as a whole. You might also want to consider creating an account. intforce (talk) 11:48, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
