Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Taste (Irish band), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 11:17, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello User:AntiDionysius, regarding you POV, do you have a specific WP:POL on which you are rely upon, rather than just pointing to WP:MOS? (You did the revert, it is up to you to provide the specific policy reason as to why.) 14.2.198.88 (talk) 10:15, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Per MOS:PLURALS: Some collective nouns – such as team (and proper names of them), army, company, crowd, fleet, government, majority, mess, number, pack, and party – may refer either to a single entity or to the members that compose it. In British English, such words are sometimes treated as singular, but more often treated as plural, according to context. Taste is an Irish band, so we use Irish English, which mirrors the British convention. And the specific context of bands conventionally does use plurals; you can see similar usage on British an Irish bands like Cream (band), Blind Faith, U2, Queen (band), Sex Pistols etc. AntiDionysius (talk) 13:01, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
