[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Austronesier (talk) 21:10, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Srivijaya. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 12:18, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Revision?
[edit]You are providing no reason for your edits apart from the word revision - expect to be blocked if you keep reverting without explaining what you are doing...
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. some basic steps
[edit]- Learn to WP:SIGN
- Show that you understand the messages you have received so far.
- understand what WP:ABOUT and WP:NOT - and why 're-instating' or 'revision' does not explain your answering the issue the other editor is raising... JarrahTree 11:36, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
@JarrahTree: Is sending a warning message using the name of another editor allowed? User I Nyoman Gede Anila. has changed the "warning" message intentionally to me. please look at history Talk page thank you. changed the warning message March 23 from user Vif12vf And btw.... sorry about “revision” that you explain
- English has certain ways of saying things... if it is not your first language, then there are possibilities that you are not getting that 'any editor can repeat the messages if they feel that your editing is being disruptive (which it is) - that means 3 or 4 editors can all send you the same message, so perhaps you should try to have careful reading of what is being sent to you. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
