Link not working
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Could you please fix the "IT Professional" link from the "List of IEEE publications" webpage?: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IEEE_publications
When hovering over "IT Professional" you can see the URL is supposed to be: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IT_Professional_(magazine)
However, currently, when you click on it there is a redirect to the "List of IEEE publications" webpage.
For an example of how this link should work, please see the rest of the publications links on "List of IEEE publications".
- Hello 129.6.152.215. The reason why the link for IT Professional doesn't work is because the magazine currently lacks a Wikipedia article. IT Professional used to have a Wikipedia article [1] but it was removed for being too promotional; as a result, the article now redirects to List of IEEE publications. If you want to write a full article for IT Professional, feel free to do so, but please keep in mind that:
- The article must not be promotional, and must be written from a neutral point of view.
- You must show that IT Professional is notable. That means you must prove that the journal meets the notability criteria for either academic journals or magazines.
- Do not edit the article if you have a conflict of interest or are paid by the journal. File an edit request instead.
- Hope this helps. Best, Altamel (talk) 03:07, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
