File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:FPOsarah6.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 05:24, 21 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:24, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Beijing Eye.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]

Thank you for uploading File:SM Endeavor.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:26, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Artiquities (talkcontribs)

I've just come here to say the same thing re. your edit[1] to Sarah Morris. You might like to respond on Talk:Sarah Morris. Ty 00:59, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You have just done the same thing again without any explanation or dialogue on the talk page. You also appear to have forgotten to log in.[2] Please make sure you do to avoid the appearance of WP:SOCK. Continued removal of content and tags which are still relevant are likely to be seen as disruptive behaviour and may lead to being blocked. Ty 17:57, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have reverted yet again[3] to an inferior version of Sarah Morris, which does not meet wikipedia editing guidelines such as WP:MOS. You have left no explanation in the edit summary or on the article talk page or in response to messages on this page. If you continue with this behaviour it is likely to lead to your being blocked from editing. Ty 19:58, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is your final warning for your edits against wikipedia guidelines with no discussion about them. If you continue you will be reported and may be blocked. Ty 19:53, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please note the above warning applies also to the removal of maintenance templates without the issues mentioned being resolved.[4] I see also the same removal by User:Kitchensponge and the WP:SOCK warning there.[5] Ty 14:17, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
