[edit]Hello, I'm Lol1VNIO. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to David Hasemyer have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me • contribs) 13:25, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- How is it not constructive when warning people about his illegal activity? tendencies? Do you support illegal activity? 12.139.111.2 (talk) 20:05, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- We need an independent, reliable source to confirm if the guy in the video really is Hasemyer. He might just be a look-alike. So far, I've found no news articles nor police reports about him. ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me • contribs) 14:21, 24 May 2022 (UTC); edited 14:21, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
- There is clear, reliable evidence. It's a Youtube video. You need to be more clear and concise on what you claim as a 'deemable' source. 12.139.111.2 (talk) 19:46, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- The video is self-published; anyone can do an investigation like that and claim to be an expert in a certain field. Reliable, published sources have to go through several stages (creation, fact checking, copy editing, etc.) before being made public. Per enwiki guideline WP:RSSELF, "Never use self-published sources as independent sources about other living people, even if the author is an expert[.]" It's also odd why People v. Preds didn't, like, report "David Hasemyer" to the authorities or anything. ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me • contribs) 20:21, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- He does report predators to the authorities after he confronts them. Maybe you need to do a little independent research yourself. Maybe you aren't meant to edit Wikipedia pages since you yourself don't fact check. Do you support this kind of behavior? 12.139.111.2 (talk) 14:18, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- Original research is not allowed for articles on Wikipedia, especially for biographies. On a different note, even if he was caught, wouldn't every single news site report him to tarnish his reputation even more, because of jealousy for not winning the Pulitzer Prize? Of course I do oppose those kinds of behavior, but there just aren't any reliable sources covering this incident that leads me to believe that guy really is David Hasemyer. ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me • contribs) 14:38, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- What you consider a 'reliable' source is subjective. Even then, the original author of the video did facial recognition which proves evidently it is him. If original research isn't allowed, how come certain arrest records are allowed on here such as for hip hop artists? Stop trying to deflect from the questions that you have done so many times. You are now making points that indirectly do not answer the question. Please stop..you are wrong and look like a fool at this point. XD 12.139.111.2 (talk) 15:39, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- Additionally to the above message, I am considering screenshotting this and contacting Wiki about this communication. Do I need to do that? 12.139.111.2 (talk) 15:40, 26 May 2022 (UTC)

As I've said before, that might just be a look-alike. Original research is when the Wikipedia editor does it themselves when no reliable sources exist. Arrests are made by the authorities and get documented and whatnot. I don't know what you mean by deflecting questions; I've answered all of them so far ("How is it not constructive?", and "Do you support illegal activity?"). And lastly, do whatever you want, I'm not forcing nor stopping you. ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me • contribs) 16:01, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- You are a joke. Have some critical thinking once in a while. I'm surprised you aren't a Democrat behind that little computer screen you work from. If Trump said something, I bet you would get that documented pretty quickly wouldn't you? 12.139.111.2 (talk) 16:04, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- Awww, are you triggered? The reliable resource is a video that shows the alleged perpetrator. You will look back on this and realize you are wrong. 12.139.111.2 (talk) 16:06, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- Ah yes, ad hominem behavior. A classic way to end a civil conversation. Refrain from doing that or you may lose editing privileges. ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me • contribs) 16:07, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- You don't control me. And you won't tell me what to do. Besides, I can just get on one of my other 3 pc's that I have. That's the difference between my 4 and your 1. Oops. 12.139.111.2 (talk) 16:11, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- Typical Beta response from you. 12.139.111.2 (talk) 16:12, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- 3O Response: This is a very clear case: we cannot use this source. YouTube videos are self-published, which we can't even use for noncontroversial comments about a person. If you're aware of Wikipedia articles breaching this policy on other articles (those hip hop artists), please link them. Firefangledfeathers was faster than me, but I will repeat that personal attacks are not tolerated here. Femke (talk) 16:34, 26 May 2022 (UTC)

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 16:31, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
