[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "108Uni", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies shared use. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Only one person may use a single account. In renaming, you could go for something like "Todd at 108Uni", to make it clear which person is using the account. Or you can simply change it to something more typical like "SportsFan35". CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 18:07, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- @CaptainEek: I disagree that there is blatant policy violation with this username and the editor appears to be editing in good faith. I have removed the Category:Wikipedia usernames with possible policy issues template. --TheSandDoctor Talk 02:29, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- TheSandDoctor, My bad, I may have misinterpreted the policy here. As far as I could tell, this account is being used by a group of school kids to create an article, but you're saying that is okay? CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 23:06, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- @CaptainEek: Regarding the issue of using username "108Uni", I am acting as a team leader and other members are helping for practical reasons. --108Uni (talk) 11:12, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hello 108Uni. Do the others have access to the account as well or is it just you? --TheSandDoctor Talk 23:15, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hello TheSandDoctor, the other members have access to the account as well, because they also need to practice, to know how to insert texts and do other things here in order to learn. Hope this is fine.--108Uni (talk) 09:44, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- TheSandDoctor, we are university students who study Human Rights (master's degree programme). (This is with regard to the message of CaptainEek.) --108Uni (talk) 09:54, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
GRETA
[edit]Howdy hello! Thanks for working on improving the article. I have some general notes.
- For starters, the article has sections that are closely paraphrased, see this link from our plagiarism detector. Make sure that anything you write is in your own words in a formal tone.
- Your references are mostly bare URL's. Such links are susceptible to WP:LINKROT, so we prefer that you create formal citations, including title, author, publisher etc. so that even if the URL goes down, the source can still be found. You should probably read WP:ERB for an excellent guide on how to deal with the technical aspect of referencing.
- The sources are mostly from GRETA itself/closely related agencies. I would like to see some news coverage of the organization if possible, to get an independent perspective. That would also ensure that the topic is notable and thus suitable for inclusion.
Don't hesitate to ask me any questions that you have, or if you need clarification. Smooth sailing, CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 23:02, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- @CaptainEek: Hello, thank you for your comments.
- We checked the material and the percentage of plagiarism can be relatively big because of the names of the documents we refer. We tried to rephrase 2 sentences in the beginning of the document but we cannot change the names of the documents or organisations.
- We took into consideration your comment. Please let us know if we understood you.
- We went through news materials. But they actually refer to official web page of GRETA. Therefore, we think that it is better to use official information.
- @CaptainEek: Hello. We hope that you and your family are well.
Because of the COVID 19, we understand that the situation is very challenging, but we would like to ask if you had time to read our comments regarding your notes? We tried to do our best to follow them. We would be glad if we could publish our work. Best wishes, --108Uni (talk) 12:12, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
- 108Uni, Howdy hello! Sorry, didn't get your comments above because you didn't sign that post. But I have now seen your comments. Though the page is far from perfect, it is at least sufficient to be published. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 20:43, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
- @CaptainEek: Yes, you are right. We forgot to sign. Sorry for that and thank you so much!!
