RFPP/E
[edit]For what it's worth, the /Edit subpage of RPP isn't for requesting a change in protection levels, but for requesting edits be made to pages in circumstances where both the article and talk page are protected. That being said, I do agree with your removal of that request, since it would have been declined since Talk:Katy Perry and Talk:Whitney Houston aren't protected. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v a little blue Bori 20:54, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User talk:108.53.232.130/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User talk:108.53.232.130/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/ny-staten-island-off-duty-emt-driving-alcohol-headbutt-nypd-cop-20220531-tvfz7y7vuzhb5o525c3gg5wapq-story.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Tony Fox (arf!) 20:33, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Tony Fox:I had blanked the page before it got deleted. 108.53.232.130 (talk) 20:49, 31 May 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Rogers Centre, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 17:20, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Kathy Hochul. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. BlueboyLINY (talk) 19:40, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
No evidence of vandalism from this IP.
Decline reason:
Quite the reverse in fact. RickinBaltimore (talk) 13:28, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Checkuser has indicated potential policy violations, from not just this address, but others that are the same or of the same type that you may have used. As such I'm demanding, as an initial minimum, that increased SCRUTINY is applied. So the solution at this time is simple: keep logging in to your account ;) -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:15, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oh I will, but I'm not going to let you get away with blocking my ip over an account I might be unaware of. Stay tuned. 108.53.232.130 (talk) 13:07, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
- OK, that's fine. You probably know then that Arbcom would be the correct venue to take this. I wouldn't want you to approach another venue where some complaint is bound to fail. I mean you're welcome to ask another checkuser if you want, but you'll get more consistent, and dare I say final, service, with the arbs. Unless you're intending something else to stop me getting away with it? -- zzuuzz (talk) 16:31, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
CheckUser is not magic pixie dust!
If the purpose is building an Encyclopedia, why do you care about sockpuppets so much? Shouldn't you just focus on making sure the content posted is accurate? –108.53.232.130 (talk) 17:42, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Duplicate of request made at User talk:96.93.129.153. We won't be lifting this block. Yamla (talk) 18:43, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
