DYK for Atari Word Processor

[edit]

On 11 November 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Atari Word Processor, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that one reviewer called deleting a block of text in Atari Word Processor "as easy as a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Atari Word Processor. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Atari Word Processor), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

@Zxcvbnm: I read the linked article on SIGCOV and cannot find a specific limit on the number of SIG sources. Can you be more specific on why two is not enough? 108.168.93.43 (talk) 19:13, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The traditional rule of thumb is that we need three solid sources or more with significant coverage (not just product announcements, funding streams, feature checklists, or pictures) to help establish notability. The assumption is that if you can't even find three, it's just not a very notable topic. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:52, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Orangemike: Ahh yes, the millions of rules of thumb! In any event, there are three now so it would be nice to 'er done. 108.168.93.43 (talk) 00:59, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
